Good News and Bad News.
|
|
The good news is, we can add ToC 10 to our farm list. The bad news is, Ulduar is being put on hold until people are ready to take it more seriously. We did a fantastic job in 10 ToC, and I look forward to farming it more, and perhaps we can take another attempt at ulduar later on down the road, simply for the achievement. Overall, not a bad week, lets keep this moving along steadily.

Week of 9/28/09
|
Tuesday night was an amazing night for us in Ulduar. We went in and attempted Flame Leviathan with 2 towers up, it didnt go so hot, so after regrouping, we went ahead and took him down with no towers as to not waste anymore time. We moved on to Razorscale which was an easy fight, and the next over to Ignis. Last week we managed to get Ignis down to 24% on our first attempt, so I had a good feeling about this week, and you guys managed to prove me right. We managed to 1 shot Ignis, which is no small feat in and of itself.
After Ignis, we moved onto XT. While the XT fight for us was a little sloppy, we still managed to 1 shot him as well. Keeping the flow going, we continued past some trash and to Kologarn who was 1 shotted as well. We decided to give Iron Council an attempt, which gave us a little bit of a problem last week, though I was still positive that we were able to down them. Sure enough, we even managed to 1 shot Iron Council, which can be a truely hard fight.
After Iron Council we moved onto Auriya or however spell the crazy cat bitch's name. She can be a bit of a pain, but we still tore through her in a single shot as well.
After Auriya, we took a shot at Hodir which gave us a bit of an issue, overalll the Tier bosses that followed our previous few kills can be rather rough. We stopped for the night after a Hodir wipe, figuring we should push our luck. On Wednesday, we headed back into Uld and had some issues with both Hodir and Thorim. From the looks of it, everyone knows the fights, its just a matter of getting a bit better gear to push through them. Next week we will get at least Hodir, Thorim, and Freya down, as well as Mimiron hopefully. Great job none the less this week in Ulduar, it was a great progression night for us as a guild, especially for being less than 3 weeks old. Congrats to everyone who attended and who recieved new gear, you all did great.

Uld next week.
|
|
Just a quick update. The plan next week is to do ulduar on tuesday and wednesday. If we do not have enough players on one of the nights, we will do naxx, os, voa, eoe, and/or ony. Please keep your eyes open for healers and ranged dps to fill out our 25 man team so we can begin that content next.

-Uld Progress 9/23/09-
|
Tonight was an amazing night for the guild. For being only 2 weeks old, we have already begun progression in Uld. That is a huge achievement, and to make things even better, not only did we go in and power through, but we have some nice upgrades to show for it.
The night began with a rough hour of trying 10 Ony. Eventually we decided to move on and give Uld a shot. It started with Flame Leviathan, we started by attempting all towers up, which proved to be a little more difficult than expected. After 2 attempts with 2 towers up, we downed all the towers and took Flame Leviathan down with no problems.

Shortly after, we moved onto Razorscale which we 1 shotted with no problems what-so-ever. Following our attempt on Razorscale we decided to clear the trash to Ignis and give it a shot. Even though we didnt down Ignis, we dropped him down to 24% on our first try, a definate achievement in itself. From the looks of it, slightly more dps next week and we will have Ignis on farm, great job!

After Ignis we headed over to XT. After 2 shots at XT we got it down with little to no issues at all. A bit of trash clearing and a small wipe on Kologarn and we had him down as well. With the night dragging on, we decided to take a few attempts at Iron Council, a difficult fight in itself, and while we had a few issues, we showed that we have the potential to down him next week.

Great Job to everyone who participated in tonight's raid, and I am proud to call you all my guild members. Next week looks promising as we've decided to move Uld to Tuesday night instead of Wednesday to hopefully give us the chance to do 2 nights of Uld.
